Grading Policy

Enamel pins are handmade and as a result, there will be slight imperfections. No pin will be perfect, and no pin will be exactly the same. Every single pin is inspected prior to being put up for sale. Please remember the grading will differ from store to store.

A Grades or Standard Grades: No noticeable flaws with little/no imperfections. Including the following:

• Light scratches/scuffing to surface of pin
• Minor flaws to metal plating (scuffs, discoloration, dents, enamel filling)
• Minor color changes to enamel
• Minor changes to screen printing
• Very tiny bubbles/dust in enamel

B Grades: Slightly lower quality pins with noticeable flaws. Due to flaws these pins are priced at a discount. B grades still look great, but under closer inspection, flaws are more noticeable.

• Mild scratches/scuffing to surface of pin
• Missing enamel
• More noticeable flaws to metal plating (scuffs, discoloration, dents, enamel filling)
• Wrong enamel used (color)

C Grades: Noticeable flaws without close inspection.

• Missing enamel filling
• Large flaws to metal printing (scuffs, discoloration, dents, enamel filling)
• Excessive/missed details in screen printing
